Preventive or elective procedures are health measures that are not medically necessary.

Why it matters:

Pawfect Care doesn't cover procedures like vaccinations, microchipping, grooming, spaying/neutering as they're not necessary to treat any existing illness or injury. But they do contribute to your pet's well-being (and looks!) so you might want to set aside a bit of your budget for those expenses.
