How to use the exclusive premium discounts?

Please log in to your OneDegree member account. After logging in, you will see the exclusive premium offers on your member page.

Why hasn't my member level been updated?

Our system will update your membership level at 4:00 PM on the day following the verified policy status. Please check again after this update time. If you still do not see your new membership level after the update, kindly contact our customer service team for assistance.

How to become a 「Star Pawbassador」?

We periodically invite select customers via email to become Star Pawbassadors. Please keep an eye on our marketing updates.

How do I hold policies of different types?

All you need to do is successfully purchase two different types of policies: Pet, Home, Fire, or Critical Illness Insurance policies, you'll be deemed as holding two valid policies of different types and will be immediately upgraded to Lv.3 Pawbassador.

  2. Become a Member
    Basic Membership is open to individuals who are at least 4 years old, while Pre-Pawbassador Membership or above is open to individuals who are residents of Hong Kong and at least 18 years old. Member will be assigned to different Membership Tiers based on the entry criteria outlined here.
  3. Benefits (“Benefits”)
    Member can enjoy the designated Benefits in accordance with their Membership Tiers. For detailed information on the Benefits available to each Membership Tier, please refer to here.
  4. Notification
    OneDegree will not activate any notifications related to direct marketing until Member opt-in in the Account or via OneDegree customer service. Member can opt-in/ opt-out the notification related to direct marketing at any time through the Account or OneDegree customer service. For details, please refer to OneDegree’s Privacy Policy.
    Members are responsible for managing their notification preferences and ensuring their devices can receive notifications. OneDegree does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and is not responsible for any delays or failures in receiving notifications.
  5. Use of Benefits
    Benefits are non-transferable. Any Benefits cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise. The Benefits will be subject to its own terms and conditions, including but not limited to expiration dates, usage limits, and any applicable exclusions.
  6. Updating Membership Information
    Member is responsible for ensuring his/her contact and payment information is accurate and up to date. Any changes to personal information should be updated through the Account or by contacting OneDegree customer service.
  7. Cancellation Process
    Member may cancel the Membership at any time by contacting OneDegree customer service. Upon cancellation, the Benefits will be terminated.
  8. Membership Upgrade and Downgrade
    a) Eligibility for Upgrade: Member may be eligible for an upgrade to a higher Membership Tier based on their usage, purchase history, or other criteria as defined by OneDegree. Once the criteria for a higher Membership Tier are fulfilled, the Membership upgrade will be automatically processed and reflected in the Account within 7 business days.
    b) Eligibility for Downgrade: Member may be downgraded to a lower Membership Tier if they no longer meet the criteria for their current Membership Tier.  Criteria for downgrade include but are not limited to decreased usage, reduce purchase, or other factors as defined by OneDegree. The Membership downgrade will be automatically processed and reflected in the Account within 7 business days.
    c) Please note that the purchase of the Turtle, Tortoise & Bird Insurance and the Home Appliances Warranty Insurance will not affect the eligibility for membership upgrade or downgrade.
  9. Changes to Membership Terms
    OneDegree reserves the right to amend, modify, or replace any of the Membership terms from time to time. The latest version of the Membership terms will be posted on the Sites and become effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to access and use the Sites, you unconditionally acknowledge and agree to the latest version of the Membership terms.
  10. Discrepancies
    In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail. 
Referral Campaign Terms and Conditions
  1. OneDegree Referral Campaign (the “Referral Campaign”) conducted by OneDegree Hong Kong Limited (“OneDegree”) is valid from today until 31st December 2025 (“Campaign Period”). By participating in the Referral Campaign, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. 
  2. This Referral Campaign is applicable to Pre-Pawbassador or above of the OneDegree’s membership scheme (“Eligible Members”). Eligible Members must log in to their OneDegree’s account during the Campaign Period to obtain a unique referral link (the “Unique Referral Link”). As a referrer (“Referrer”) to refer at least one new customer (“Referee”) who has not held any valid insurance policy underwritten by OneDegree (“OneDegree Insurance Policy”) in the past 3 months from the enrolment date. The Referee must use the Unique Referral Link to successfully purchase designated OneDegree Insurance Policy (“Designated OneDegree Insurance Policy”) within the Campaign Period. Also, the referrer still holds a valid OneDegree insurance policy and the referee still holds the related valid Designated OneDegree insurance policy during the month when the designated reward (“Designated Reward”) is issued by OneDegree. Only then will the referral be considered a successful referral (the “Successful Referral”). The Referrer and Referee will then be eligible to receive the Designated Reward and designated premium discount (the “Designated Premium Discount”) (collectively the “Campaign Offers”) and become the Eligible Referrer (the “Eligible Referrer”) and Eligible Referee (the “Eligible Referee”).
  3. Eligible Referees can receive Designated Premium Discounts based on (i) the membership tier of the Eligible Referrer and (ii) the type of Designated OneDegree Insurance Policy purchased by the Eligible Referee:

·       Pet Insurance first-year premium discounts: (i) Pre-Pawbassador enjoys 30% off; (ii) Lv.1 Pawbassador enjoys 30% off; (iii) Lv.2 Pawbassador enjoys 32% off; (iv) Lv.3 Pawbassador enjoys 32% off; (v) Star Pawbassador enjoys 35% off.

·       Fire Insurnace (exclude levy) first-year premium rebate: (i) Pre-Pawbassador enjoys 20% rebate; (ii) Lv.1 Pawbassador enjoys 20% rebate; (iii) Lv.2 Pawbassador enjoys 22% rebate; (iv) Lv.3 Pawbassador enjoys 25% rebate; (v) Star Pawbassador enjoys 25% rebate.

·       Home Insurance first-year premium discounts: (i) Pre-Pawbassador enjoys 30% off; (ii) Lv.1 Pawbassador enjoys 30% off; (iii) Lv.2 Pawbassador enjoys 35% off; (iv) Lv.3 Pawbassador enjoys 40% off; (v) Star Pawbassador enjoys 40% off.

·       Critical Illness Insurance first-year premium discounts: (i) Pre-Pawbassador enjoys 30% off; (ii) Lv.1 Pawbassador enjoys 30% off; (iii) Lv.2 Pawbassador enjoys 35% off; (iv) Lv.3 Pawbassador enjoys 40% off; (v) Star Pawbassador enjoys 40% off.

  1. Eligible Referrers can receive Designated Rewards based on their membership tier. Each Successful Referral can earn one Designated Reward, with no limit on the number of referrals.

·       Lv.1 Pawbassador  8% rebate on first year’s premium referred policy (exclude levy)

·       Lv.2 Pawbassador  8% rebate on first year’s premium referred policy (exclude levy)

·       Lv.3 Pawbassador 10% rebate on first year’s premium referred policy (exclude levy)

·       Star Pawbassador  12% rebate on first year’s premium referred policy (exclude levy)

  1. Any failure in fulfilling any criteria and/or requirements mentioned in this Terms and Conditions will result in loss of the Campaign Offers, and no refunds shall be arranged afterwards. 
  2. The personal data of Eligible Referrers may be shared with specific third-party partners solely for identity verification purposes to complete the reward redemption. By participating in this Referral Campaign, Eligible Referrers agree to the collection, processing, and transfer of their personal data by OneDegree for this purpose.
  3. The first year’s premium rebate of Designated Premium Discount will be credited to the credit card account registered by the Eligible Referee during the previous insurance purchase, on the 4th month from the enrolment date of the Eligible Referee's Designated OneDegree Insurance Policy. The first year’s premium rebate of Designated Reward will be credited to the credit card account registered by the Eligible Referrer during the previous insurance purchase, on the 4th month from the enrolment date of the Eligible Referee's Designated OneDegree Insurance Policy.
  4. If the membership tier of the Eligible Referrer changes during the waiting period for OneDegree to issue the Designated Reward, OneDegree will issue the Designated Reward based on the membership tier of the Eligible Referrer on the enrolment date of the Eligible Referee's Designated OneDegree Insurance Policy.
  5. The Eligible Referrer will receive a reward redemption letter (the “Redemption Letter”) via the email provided during the previous insurance application process, within 4 months from the enrolment date of the Eligible Referee's Designated OneDegree Insurance Policy. OneDegree is not responsible for unsuccessful receipt of the Redemption Letter due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Eligible Referrer. The actual date of reward collection may be adjusted based on reward supply arrangements.
  6. OneDegree reserve the right to make changes on the reward or substitute a similar item of equal value at any time without notice, based on actual supply circumstances.
  7. The Eligible Referrer must redeem the reward by presenting the Redemption Letter at the specified redemption location on the designated redemption date to receive the reward. Any failure in doing so will result in loss of reward and no refund shall be arranged afterwards.  
  8. The reward and Redemption Letter cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged for cash, or exchanged for other products or services under any circumstances. 
  9. The relevant reward is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the supplier. In case of any enquiry or dispute in relation to the relevant reward, Eligible Referrer s should contact the supplier directly. 
  10. If Referee cancels the relevant insurance policy during the policy term, OneDegree reserves the right to deduct the value of respective Campaign Offers  from any premium refund. 
  11. The discounted premium will be rounded to the nearest whole number on the website during quotation. The actual premium payable will be shown at the checkout page.   
  12. This Campaign Offers  cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.  
  13. The Referrer and the Referee cannot be the same person. 
  14. For details of coverage, terms, conditions, and exclusions of the insurance products, please refer to the respective policy wording. 
  15. OneDegree reserves the right to make the final decision in case of dispute, including but not limited to disputes relating to eligibility to receive reward, number of Successful Referral, and interpretation of terms and conditions. 
  16. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail. 
  17. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("HKSAR"); and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of HKSAR.
